The Clubs Championship cat show
is held annually on the first Saturday in November,with reduced entry fee for members.The 2009 show on November
7th will be at Stantonbury Campus,Milton Keynes. |

Schedules will be available from Mrs. B. James, but all 2008 Exhibitors
will automatically receive a schedule.As in previous years we will be
holding the Gallery of Fame and exhibitors,irrespective of whether they
are members, are invited to nominate their cats or other cats of fame
for inclusion in the Gallery. Committee would be delighted to see in the
Gallery,cats which are no longer on the bench, but who have
contributed to the breed.

SIAMESE CAT CLUB SHOW 1ST NOVEMBER
2008.A message from the Hon.Secretary Mrs Jean Murchison
May I thank everyone who
supported the Club by exhibiting at our annual Show. We had a few
hiccups due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. heating in the
hall was inadequate, urn to heat water for exhibitors teas etc. was
defunct and the hot water to wash up with was intermittent – apologies
to you all.
I understand some exhibitors did not receive side class rosettes – this
was due to a short delivery by our suppliers – apologies again for this.
Finally – NEWSLETTERS – as with the new postal system, each Newsletter
was weighed and passed through the new ‘slot’ at the Post Office to
ensure it was not classified as ‘Extra Large’ and all past the test
(weight under 100 grm and sliding through the said slot) – however,
there appear to be some members who were charged excess postage and this
was incorrect – please let me know if this happened to you.
